Weekly News Summary
Editorial (04/03/2003): on the 10th of February, 2003.......El Voluntario wrote "the war in the gulf is inevitable.......it will be intense but brief." The war will be brief because the -Stalin style- tyranny of Saddam is based on terror and corruption. Therefore, there is no reason or motive for Iraq's military to fight for a bloody despot that has caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of their countrymen. The anticipated urban war will not take place.......there will be no house to house fighting. There will be massive dessertions and massive surrender in Iraq's army. Only the menace of the use of chemical and biological weapons remains. If this is the case, casualties in the allied armies will be minimal.......and the main victims will be among the civilian population. Anyhow, the destiny of Saddam has been sealed and a new beginning -under freedom- is in the immediate future for the people of Iraq
